Most projects begin with a walkthrough.
Someone shows me a process that has grown around spreadsheets, inboxes, old software, exports, and a lot of memory. The business understands the problem. What it does not have is a clean technical specification.
That is where I am useful. I listen to the people doing the work, trace the records and decisions, and turn what I learn into a small first plan. Then I build it, test it with real examples, and stay involved through launch and handoff.
Work across the whole path
My recent work spans business operations software, ecommerce catalog data, integrations, search, publishing, checkout, security, deployment, and long-running Apple apps. I am comfortable moving between the business conversation and the technical details because the two have to agree for the result to last.
AI is part of the toolkit
I use AI for work such as document extraction, classification, search, drafting, and summarization when it can be tested and reviewed. I also know when a database rule, ordinary automation, or clearer screen is the better answer.
Local when it helps
I live in Lakewood and work with businesses across New Jersey. Some work starts faster when I can sit beside the person doing it. Other projects work well by screen share. We can choose based on the process, not a fixed consulting format.
